Swing Supper with Andy Veale

We are pleased to report that the evening with Andy Veale on 12th May raised £700 in support of Ukrainian refugees

Proceeds in aid of Rotary's humanitarian aid in Ukraine

Highly regarded and in-demand south coast lead trumpeter Andy Veale has had an illustrious musical carer which has seen him perform in all four corners of the globe. Graduating Leeds College of Music, Andy spent the early part of his musical career working with multiple shows around the UK and Europe including the Glenn Miller UK Orchestra, The Nick Ross Orchestra and the Elvis Collection to name a few. After completing a summer season at Blackpool Tower Ballroom, Andy moved to Princess Cruises travelling the world performing with legendary entertainers such as The FourTops, Eddie Holman, Tony Tillman and The Drifters.

And because Andy and Rotary are passionate about developing new talent....

Since returning to the UK in 2011 Andy has been inspiring the next generation of musicians, teaching music in secondary schools. He brings with him for the evening a group of talented 13-16-year-old musicians from Wyvern College: The Wyvern College Big Band who will entertain you with classic sounds from across the big band era for the evening. Andy will also be joined by fellow educators and renowned local jazz musicians, Andy Nicholas on saxophone and Alex Needham on trombone.

Tickets cost £22.50 per head, available via QR code.
Price includes a supper of slow cooked pulled pork & trimings (or BBQ jackfruit vegetarian/vegan option) followed by raspberry and lemon cheesecake.

Guests will be seated at tables of 8 should you wish to come as a group, or else make new friends.

A licensed bar will be available selling beer, wine and soft drink.
