Business Partners

Most people are aware of the worldwide organisation of Rotary and its remarkable success in Service to the community and fundraising for good causes but few realise what The Rotary Club of Basingstoke do for the local and International community.

Ideally we would invite business persons to consider applying for membership of Rotary. However, we appreciate that the pressures of business and family priorities may make that difficult. As an alternative the Rotary Club of Basingstoke would invite your Company to become a Partner of our Rotary Club.

The Rotary Business Partners Scheme has been instigated, in conjunction with our website, to develop closer contacts with and support from local businesses.  It enables members of the local business community to help the Rotary Club of Basingstoke meet the many needs that exist locally and to give member businesses publicity.

How You Can Help

Members of our Rotary Partners scheme assist us by helping to cover the costs of our fundraising events and publicity allowing us to maximise funds raised.  It is important to know that all funds raised for charity by Rotary clubs goes directly to good causes.

Business Partner's employees wishing to help with running our events will always find a warm welcome from local Rotarians.  If you are interested in this aspect, then do let us know and also advise what particular skills you may have available that we might find useful.

Working together can bring great benefits to both partners; whilst working with Rotarians, experienced in all aspects of business, can help to develop and enhance management skills of younger staff.

The scheme formally helps Business Partners and their staff to meet their personal and corporate social responsibility aims and objectives.

For a nominal tax deductible contribution the Rotary Club of Basingstoke welcomes you and your business as a Rotary Business Partner and will provide:

• A framed certificate showing the business support for the community;
• Promotion of your business in:
  • Listing, logo and website link on our club website;
  • A sticker for your premises / car publicising your participation in the scheme;
  • Selected Rotary Club of Basingstoke publicity materials
  • Rotary Event programmes
  • Rotary Business Partners material
  • A credit in Press releases where appropriate
  • Listing in our Presidents Night menu;
• Invitations to a selected social evenings and "Business Partners nights" at one of our weekly meetings;
• An opportunity
  • To be a guest speaker at one of club meetings.
  • The opportunity to promote a local cause which requires Charity support
  • The opportunity to help out with an event which maybe close to your heart
