Thursday 18th February 2016 saw the long awaited "official" opening of the renovated club premises. It gave Rotarians present an opportunity to show the new facilities to His Excellency The Lieutenant Governor of Jersey Sir John McColl and Lady McColl and to thank all those professionals who had carried out the work so well.
Senator Andrew Green, Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Health and Social Services, also attended and congratulated the Rotary Club of Jersey and the Good Companions Club (a Rotary project since 1948) on continuing to make such an important contribution to the wellbeing of the island's "senior" citizens.
The "new" club has been in operation now for some 2 to 3 months and is a firm favourite with all members who appreciate the stylish interior and excellent facilities provided.
