Rotary Goes into Space

Tim Peake takes a club banner from our District with him to the International Space Station

International Space Station

Locks Heath club of Fareham announced last week that a banner from the club had been given to astronaut Tim Peake to take with him to the International Space Station. It has been irradiated by NASA so that it doesn’t contaminate space! Lo and behold, we have now been sent this picture which shows the banner displayed in Tim’s window. It seems Tim's godmother is a member of the Locks Heath club. That has to be a first for our Rotary Wessex District!
