It is a self-contained package, containing a portable dental chair, dental suction unit and solar powered operating light produced by the Dentaid engineers, plus instruments, gloves, uniforms and masks - everything to enable a dental professional to deliver basic oral health care and emergency treatment to those in need, in any locality in the developing world.
All packed in a wheelie bin!
It is an exciting step forward for the portable dental chair, which the Dentaid engineers designed with the support of the Rotary Club of Romsey Test and which is now in use in many countries.
A brilliant innovation from within our own Rotary District 1110 Wessex and the Channel Islands.
