This year's District final was held on 22nd February 2014 in Poole, Dorset. Jersey's representative Chloe Wallser, joined 13 other finalists who had each won their own local Young Chef competition organised by the Rotary Club in their home town. Channel Island rivalry was rejoined as Guernsey had a finalist there too.

But of course the real winners were all those participating and gaining confidence from the experience, well done everyone.
Oliver and Emily now go on to represent District 1110 at the regional finals in Redruth. We wish them every success there too. It would be great if they advanced firther to the National finals in London.
