Report from Annan Academy about Young Chef Competiition
Well what an incredible day at the Scottish Rotary Clubs' Young Chef competition finals with Mya and Tyler, both of Annan Academy. The standard for their age blew the judges and guests away..... the chefs all focussed and composed and the teachers and parents all nervous wrecks! We are thrilled to say Mya came 3rd with a 10/10 dessert which the judges were blown away by! They have n=both worked so hard, practising at home & school in between studying for and sitting prelims and final exams - they have made themselves, the school and their families incredibly proud. An big shout out to Mrs Coupland and Mrs Swallow who have supported the kids over and above and has kept all calm - and to Annan & District Rotary Club who are a continuous support...... and breathe! Now time for the Easter holidays!

On Saturday 21 September 2024 we supported the annual Annan Harbour Festival with a stall with candy floss, children's games, bric a brac.

Annan & District Rotary have purchased a quantity of Sherpa Blankets to be donated towards a local initiative in Annan providing warm blankets to local residents struggling to afford heating over the coming winter months.
