Dear fellow Brotarians,

Our next visit has been arranged for Wednesday 20 November at 2pm when we will have a guided tour of St Paul’s Episcopal Cathedral at 1 High Street in the centre of Dundee.

The  Cathedral’s Provost, The Very Revd Jeremy Auld, will take us on a full tour of all parts of the inside of the Cathedral, and there will also be the opportunity to climb the tower and admire a stunning view of Dundee from the outside parapet. The grounds include a merchant’s house from the mid 1700’s, one of Dundee’s oldest remaining buildings, which has many original features and this will be included in our tour. We will have tea/coffee and biscuits during the afternoon.

The visit is open to members and guests and a booking sheet will be circulated at next Monday’s meeting. Alternatively, just reply to this email if you would like to come and I will add your name to the list. The visit is free, but I would like to suggest a £5 donation per person to the Cathedral funds that I will collect in advance.

I’d be pleased to provide any further information you may require and am very grateful to Val Vannet for her suggestion of this visit.

Alan Cook, on behalf of the visit subgroup of the service committee
