Indonesia Earthquake and Tsunami

In early October 2018 Thurso Rotary Club responded rapidly to the devastating news of the Indonesia Earth quake and Tsunami via the Rotary International and ShelterBox Project Partnership.  We sent funds for 2 full Shelter-boxes to be sent to the disaster region with the on the ground Rotary International relief support.  These boxes have equipment for vital emergency shelter and equipment needed by people and families that have survived:  tents, water purification, water carriers, blankets, light and emergency rations.  Thurso Rotary Club are grateful for the ongoing support from our Club and Community to the Foundation and International Team that enables us to maintain a balanced and positive supportive reaction on the ground in these terrible circumstances.
