The Rotary Club of Windsor St George was very pleased to make a donation to Guide Dogs this week.
Guide Dogs are providing these amazing dogs and a broader range of services to help people who are blind and partially sighted, giving them confidence, support and a level of independence.
Thanks to the supports of Margaret Tagg at Windsor Yards, Rotary Club Windsor St George were given the opportunity to fund raise for Guide Dogs over the weekend of 3rd & 4th December 2022.
The Saturday event in Windsor Yards replaced the traditional Santa Reindeer Parade through the town. The Sunday event was a craft market with different suppliers having stalls within the centre promoting their Christmas items.
Both days created a very good interest in Guide Dogs and the work the Rotary does. You will see that Paws had a busy two days meetings lots of different people and animals. We are very pleased to announce that from the bucket donations and the fees from stall holders have made it possible for the club to be able to present tonight a cheque to Guide Dogs for £1,500.
Thank you to Windsor Yards for Hosting the event, all the stallholders who supported the Sunday market, Riverways Farm at Twyford for the Reindeer and the public who gave generously over the weekend.
