In preparation for a bigger event being planned in September

Representatives from both clubs did a recce today to see how big a problem litter is in on the Windsor part of the Thames.

Although we fished a bicycle out of the river and found a bag full of rubbish, we were pleasantly surprised how relatively clean the river was.

This was done in preparation for a bigger event being planned in September.

Massive thanks to Chris Clark of Kris Cruises who not only let us have a boat for the morning, but was our captain for the trip

The joint Environment team comprised Chris Clark, David Burch, Natalie Carter, Jane Davies and Chris Davies.

A successful morning with some relaxing fellowship and left the Thames slightly cleaner.
