Rotary Phoenix collaborated with Trees For Thame and local businesses to plant 30m of hedging and 35 trees in the Queen Elizabeth Circle recreation area and an additional 12 trees on Hamilton Drive.
Over 30 enthusiastic volunteers carried out this project, most of whom were from CPM, Lucy Electric, Lightfoots Solicitors, Richardsons Accountants and Field Sales Solutions. Lucy Electric also kindly sponsored the trees planted on Hamilton Drive.
Thanks to all our supporting companies and also to Thame Football Club for allowing the use of their facilities during the day.
Rotary Phoenix’s doors are open to welcome new volunteer members which would allow us to complete more of these projects in the future.
