Volunteers from United States Rotary clubs joined members of the Rotary Club of Bahia de Jaltemba-La Penita, high school students, and their parents for a week renovating the Escuela Preparatoria 20 de Noviembre in Las Varas, Mexico. It was organized by the Rotary Clubs of Berkeley, California, USA, and Bahia de Jaltemba-La Penita, Nayarit, Mexico.

Rotary Phoenix collaborated with Trees for Thame and local businesses to plant 30m of hedging and 35 trees in the Queen Elizabeth Circle recreation area and a further 12 trees at Hamilton Drive.
