Thame Rotary Swimathon goes from strength to strength
Being part of the London Olympics and Paralympics legacy, the second edition of the Thame Rotary Swimathon took place at the Thame Leisure Centre on Sunday 13 October.
Over 70 people of different ages swam in teams of 6 or so for one hour. Groups from Thame SAFARI (Self Advocacy for Adults who Require Independence), Racquets, Thame Swimming Club, Thame Town Council, Thame Fire Brigade, Chinnor Kettlebells, Haddenham Superducks and others were represented by enthusiastic swimmers. more This was the 7th edition of the Thame Swimathon. 18 teams = 100 swimmers attended Thame Swimathon 2019. They had fun and raised over £4,000 for charity. Teams' fundraising will continue till 17 March.
