The two speakers were: Sarah Novis, Health Outreach Co-ordinator for the South Oxfordshire and Vale Carers Centre and Jane Harrison is the Cousellor at Lord Williams and also runs the Thame Young Carers.
Sarah and Jane talked about the Thame Young Carers project aimed to provide support to those youth and children who care for an ill relative. The charity's aim is to provide these children with leisure activities like shopping trips, paint balling etc., as they practically do not have a normal social life.
Thame Carers is one of the charities supported by Rotarian Jeannette Matelot Green, Mayor of Thame.
