Rowena Card wrote " I just wanted to give a little more information as I believe this may be of interest to many. The Bombolulu school was found in need of help and repair by Sally Searle on a trip to Kenya in 2011. I met Sally a few years ago at a Rotary conference and was instantly captured by her enthusiasm for the school and the considerable work and dedication she has put in to develop and build this up through her Rotary networks and wider (she is a Rotarian herself)
I personally sponsor a child each month called Matilda and I regularly receive letters and reports about her progress in class which is wonderful. I also can correspond and send her gifts whenever I wish to.
Sally is travelling from Bedford to do the talk and it would be great for as many people to come along and learn more on 15th as possible.
