Over 75's Christmas Lunch 2025

On 13th December 2025, the Rotary Club of Princes Risborough held the annual Christmas lunch for those over 75 living alone in the town; this is the 15th such event that the Club has supported.

The Princes Centre provided an excellent venue for the event.  Previous attendees were all contacted and the lunch was advertised widely in an area restricted to that administered by the Town Council who helped with some of the funding.  Those guests who were unable to get themselves to the Centre were collected by Members of the Rotary Club, there they were greeted by Rotarian Trevor Fitch our ’Master of Ceremonies’ and met by Greg Smith our MP who gave all the attendees a signed Houses of Parliament Christmas card, and Matt Walsh the Town’s Mayor.  The dining room was filled to capacity with 76 diners; there was an excellent Christmas meal once again provided by Semra of Crumbs2 in the High Street which was enjoyed by all with a glass of wine.    After the meal we were entertained again by the excellent Princes Risborough Ukulele Band.

The Club plans to hold another lunch in the summer, on 6th June and this year’s Christmas event will be held on 12th December.
