On November 27th, around 50 Rotarians MISSED the opportunity to learn about modern dairy farming on the trip to Holly Green Farm in Bledlow.
The 6 who visited the farm (along with 4 guests) experienced a very enlightening, guided tour of the facility, which is the first (and only) ARLA innovation farm in the UK. This accolade represents the highest quality of animal welfare and the use of the latest technology used in breeding and raising dairy cattle. Milk from this 500 acre, 700 head farm goes to the ARLA processing plant, where it is treated separately and only goes into ARLA milk – not into cheese or any other milk-based product.
Another great trip organised by Mr Voss (aka Postcode Pat).
