Ben Sharp is Chair of Trustees at Lighthouse Central, the charity with a mission to grow and support the local Lighthouses around the UK - such as the Lighthouse that ran in Princes Risborough this Summer. Ben will talk about how his faith brought him to Lighthouse, how Lighthouse helps people encounter God and the exciting plans to plant a Lighthouse in every region of our country.
Ben is also a serving Royal Air Force Officer; he spoke to Princes Risborough Rotary Club in that guise in November 2019. His current role is within UK Space Command, based at the RAF headquarters in Naphill, where he is the director of a programme to launch surveillance satellites for the UK military. He is a Fellow of both the Royal Aeronautical Society and the Institute of Engineering & Technology, he is an elected member of the Hughenden Parochial Church Council and he lives in Walters Ash with his family.
