The annual putting competition took place at Whiteleaf Golf Club on Monday 21st August.
This was the first time since pre - COVID and we are grateful to Margaret Maisey and Pauline Risk for organising the challenging 3 hole putting event.
After two rounds, including some unbelievable holes in one and some equally unbelievable misses a 4-way tie break was required. A further round was required to eliminate two to leave Keith Rosling and Rosemary Woodward - Court to fight for the prestigious prize.
Keith eventually pipped Rosemary to win the coveted Rotary putter made by former member Phil Baker. Keith is obliged to display this in his lounge with Jeanette’s permission.
Rosemary was presented with the new Maisey Risk Trophy created in memory of our two former members.
It was a great evening blessed with good weather enjoyed by a large number of members, partners and guests.
We plan to hold the event again next year.
