Tree of Light Donations to Rennie Grove 2021

Details of donations from the 2021 event

We have received the following communication from Louise Hewitt, who is the Senior Community Fundraiser at Rennie Grove:

Dear Treasurer,

Further to my earlier email, I am writing to confirm that we have received the additional £570 in Gift Aid from the Tree of Lights event 2021 via BACS, thank you. This takes the very grand total of funds raised from Tree of Lights 2021 to a staggering £3,710, this is amazing thank you all so much.

Please pass my thanks to members of the Rotary Club for all the hard work and efforts that go into making this event a success.  Particular thanks to my contacts Malcolm Parker and David Griggs who are a pleasure to work with in the run up to the event.

Your donation and continued support has helped our hospice at home nurses in Buckinghamshire who, in 2020-21, cared for 1,259 patients, made 45,962 telephone calls and 9,127 visits to patients, travelling 172,054 miles to ensure patients and their families received the vital care and support they needed.

With thanks again for your continued support and I look forward to working with you all again later this year.

Best wishes

Louise Hewitt
