Rotarian Tom Winkworth was once again the driving force behind a successful Charity Golf Day. The event was held at Whiteleaf Golf Club on Thursday 18th April 2019., 22 teams of 4 players had entered and the first 4 ball set off at 8.00am. The last 4 ball completed their 4 ball a 5.40 pm.The course was in excellent condition and the weather was wonderful.
With raffle takings of over £1000 together with the Auction Items and 4 Ball Vouchers the day raised over £5,000 for worthy causes. Dinner in the evening plus prize-giving rounded off a hugely successful day.
Many thanks to Whiteleaf Golf Club who provided us with a golf course in great condition, great food and use of their facilities. Thanks also to all those who helped Tom organise the event and to those who helped on the day.
Most thanks however to Tom Winkworth who masterminded the entire event.
