Tree of Light attracts a record crowd and record Dedications
The Dedication Ceremony for the fifth Princes Risborough Tree of Light, organised by the Rotary Club of Princes Risborough, was held on Sunday 25 November.
Reflecting the growing importance of this event to the local community, a crowd of over 200 attended the Ceremony, and a record number of almost 400 dedications were displayed on the Dedication Boards.
As in previous years, Sally Dussek and Friends provided music and the Reverend James Tomkins led the service. The lights were turned on by Gary Hall, Town Mayor.
Funds raised are shared between the Iain Rennie Hospice at Home and Rotary charities. Rotary Club President Tom Winkworth said that dedications had raised nearly
