Joining Rotary
Rotarians are business and professional leaders who take an active role in their communities while greatly enriching their personal and professional lives. There are 35,000 members in the UK alone, and over 1.2 million members worldwide, leaders in their field of business, professional practice, or community.
A Rotary Club contains a diverse group of professional leaders from the community that the club serves. The Oxford Club has a distinguished history and welcomes new members of both sexes from all professional and business backgrounds, who share a desire for fellowship and service on a range of projects locally and worldwide.
We meet on most Mondays at the Cotswold Lodge from 12.45 to 2.00 pm for an excellent lunch at a special reduced rate for members and guests. On most weeks we have a guest speaker. Our guest speakers cover a range of fascinating topics delivered succinctly within 15 minutes, allowing for questions thereafter. It is an efficient lunch hour with Rotary business, lunch, fellowship, and listening to a guest speaker, all concluded within an hour.
If you are interested in becoming a member and would like to find out more please e-mail the Club Secretary, Robin Jones, at robin.jones8@me.com or telephone him on 01993 811484 or 07739 900689. Robin will arrange for you to come to lunch, meet our members, and find out more about us and what we do.
You will be most welcome!
