2014 Barge Trips for Newbury Community Groups

Newbury Rotary Club skippers and crews The Rebecca Barge from The Bruce Trust for a week in September giving a variety of local charity support groups and their carers a lovely day out on the Kennet and Avon Canal.

    2014 Barge Week with Local Community Groups

 

This September Newbury Rotary skippered and crewed the Rebecca Barge, on hire for the week from the Bruce Trust, and hosted a variety of local community groups to enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the Kennet and Avon Canal  all the way from Great Bedwyn  to Ufton and back.
 

We welcomed on board the following groups for day trips:
