Newbury Rotary Club Fundraising

Newbury Rotary Club raises funds to support local community initiatives, national charities, and international causes through a programme of enjoyable and inclusive events.

Rotary’s guiding principle, Service Above Self, underpins all our fundraising activity. By giving our time, skills, and resources, Rotarians work together to support causes that make a meaningful difference to people’s lives.

Each year, Rotary clubs nominate a range of charities and community groups—locally, nationally, and internationally—which become the focus of their fundraising efforts.

Our Fundraising Activities

Newbury Rotary runs a variety of fundraising activities each year to support its nominated charities and worthy causes.

Our current fundraising activities include:

• Supporting Newbury Velo at the Newbury Triathlon
• Organising Charity Quiz Nights
• The 2026 Newbury Santa Fun Run, starting and finishing in Market Place
• Mayors variety concert at The Corn Exchange

Through these events, Newbury Rotary helps raise vital funds while encouraging community participation and promoting the values of Rotary.
