Community Service

Newbury Rotary Club supports and organises a variety of community activities for all ages

Service defines Rotary's character

Service defines Rotary's character; whether local or international, it promotes Rotary's appeal and visibility in the community, and is the reason Rotary continues to grow.

Rotarians are passionate about the community they work and live in.

At Newbury Rotary Club, we focus on helping national and local charities and community groups and projects. We may provide financial support, hands-on practical assistance and sometimes, simply advice or putting the right people in touch with each other.

Some of our annual community events include:

Volunteer Fair at the Corn Exchange Newbury

Stroke Awareness & Blood Pressure Testing at Newbury Town Hall

            Community Clean Up across Newbury

Mayor's Variety Concert at the Corn Exchange

            Community Groups Barge Trips

Newbury Rotary Club actively works alongside other local community organisations in partnership to enhance community support activities

Our members also provide help, marshals and resources for a host of other community events and projects including:

Newbury Lions Firework Display

VE in Europe Day in Victoria Park, Newbury

Remembrance Sunday Wreath Laying and Parade

Royal Engineers Parade
