On July 2nd we celebrated our Presidents' handover at a lunchtime meeting at the Grouse & Ale. We were delighted to have several members from Inner Wheel as well as the members' partners and friends.
We started with President Harvey presenting Phillipe Burger with his honourary membership certificate for over 45 years’ service to the club.
This year we are continuing with four presidents, a pioneering system which worked well in 2025/26. So it’s farewell to Reg Markham, Derrick Southon, Shaun Murphy and Harvey Dodgson and a very warm welcome to Reg, Derrick, Shaun and Harvey once again.
After the formalities John Dunsterville from Bourne End and Cookham Rotary club took us through his varied and illustrious musical career. Thank you John!
'What We Do' Main Pages:
Our main fund-raising event, run jointly with Marlow Thames Rotary, is Santa's Fun Run, a 5 km run or jog around Marlow on the first Sunday in December. It now attracts some 3,000 entrants and raises over £100,000 in charitable contributions
