UKRAINIAN FAMILIES BBQ
AT GERRARDS CROSS MEMORIAL CENTRE
Gerrards Cross Memorial Centre hosted the many Ukrainian families who reside in our area of Gerrards Cross Chalfont St Peter and St Giles, to a BBQ Lunch in order that they may feel welcome, at home, meet up with others in the same situation, chat in their own language again and gain information for the many questions they must have. Our Rotary Club was happy to add a little colour to the event, even if it was only in the medium of watercolour and in the shape of a Lion, dog, Panda, little devil or butterfly. The afternoon was enjoyed by all and the BBQ delicious.
