BBQ FOR OUR ELDERLY FRIENDS
It has been too long since we were able to enjoy the presence of our elderly friends from Gerrards Cross, Chalfonts St Peter and St Giles at our annual BBQ. Even the weather behaved itself, not too hot, too cold or wet, in fact, it was perfect. It made the day that we welcomed new people to our list of friends and to say hello to our usual friends. Sincere thanks as usual to those Rotarians who yet again came to help with the setting up of our Club Gazebo, collecting our friends who could not otherwise get here, serving food and clear up after. Without all this help these gatherings would not be possible.
A good turn out ensured that there was plenty of conversation, laughter and enjoyment of food that a summer BBQ needs to be a success.
