CHALFONT ST PETER FEAST DAY
On a sunny, blustery Saturday in Chalfont St Peter, the Rotarians were once again seen out promoting this vibrant and friendly organization. There were members from three local clubs, Misbourne Matins breakfast club, Gerrards Cross & Chalfont St Peter lunch club and Jordons, & District evening, which goes to show there is a Club to accommodate you and any daily activities. Our time at Feast Day was spent meeting people from all over the Chalfonts as well as further afield. We had the opportunity to tell the public what the Club is all about and how we work. A well worth opportunity for us to be seen and to promote our organization. The reaction we received from the public was friendly and promising.
The mission of the day was to welcome and further boost a “Buddy” system for our Ukrainian families with some practical help in getting them to various appointments and places when their host families were unable to do so themselves.
All donations at our tent on the Day were given to Rotary Charities.
