Rotary Santa’s Sleigh Ride delivers for local Charities
The Rotary Club of Gerrards Cross and Chalfont has retired its Sleigh for another year after a very successful month supporting Santa and Rudolf in their pre-Christmas visit to many parts of Gerrards Cross and the Chalfonts.
Aided by many volunteers of all ages, the Rotarians have raised over £11,000 for local charities following the exhaustive tour of our streets and the wonderful generosity we received from our residents.
It is always a great pleasure to participate in the Rotary Santa collections, which have taken place over many years, as the enjoyment and excitement of children (of all ages) provides a timely introduction to the Festive season.
Wishing all the members of our community a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year
Jim Patterson
President
Rotary Club of Gerrards Cross and Chalfont St Peter
