Jean-Marc Murre hands over the chain of office to Colin Brown as President for 2025-2026

Our one and only French President of St Andrews Rotay Club was full of laughter and smiles at handing over the President's chain of office to a Scottish lad well fed on porridge oats.

New President Colin Brown was for some years CEO of a porridge oat factory.

This was the first meeting of the new Rotary year. Outgoing President, Jean Marc MurrĂ©, handed over to new President, Colin Brown. Past President Colin Mitchell then gave a presentation of The Rotary Club of St Andrews Website (which he carefully maintains), advising that this website is open to the public and anyone can look at it....even King Charles! Details of all the Club Events and Charitable Activities can be found on it, from the upcoming Garden Party at St Leonards School to the 'Chariots of Fire' Race on the West Sands in June when 800 runners took part. Details of future speakers to the Club and photographs of events going back many years, including Young Chef and Young Musician national competitions and Local Schools Forum, are also available; also found are details of  the Rotaract Club which includes many University students who are involved with the Club and assist with its activities. Colin urged Club members to access the site regularly.
