This was the final meeting of the year and took the form of a special Christmas lunch. The dining room was packed with Rotarians and guests. Among those invited were twelve students of the university who were unable to return to their homes abroad this Christmas. The students included under-graduates and post-graduates, and countries represented were the Peoples’ Republic of China, Japan, USA, Mexico, Ukraine. President of the club, Jean-Marc Murré’s welcome was followed by a three-course Christmas lunch, enjoyed by all. Entertainment was provided by Rotarians Ann Baird and Ian Hamilton who led the singing of Christmas songs and carols.
