President Liza McLachlan and Coach Marjory Finlay explained exciting updates on tennis in St Andrews

Club members please log in for more information.

St Andrews Tennis Club has over 450 members and recently 3 new tennis courts re-laid, providing 7 full sized courts and 3 mini courts.  This is much more than many clubs in the area.

There is a real family feel to the Club with parents and children very involved.  Students are also amongst the membership. There is even a "walking tennis" group play.

The emphasis on youngsters is so important for the local community.  The Club have good links with Madras, Elmwood and the University.

26 Tennis Leaders aged 13 and over at the Club visit schools for 6 weeks over the summer holidays and run a Schools Festival.  With 2 boys and 2 girls in each team almost 180 children are involved in matches between schools on one day.

All year Friday night tennis is available for P7s to 6th Year to play free with the Club providing balls and rackets if required.  This opens up tennis for all.

President Liza is a past member of Inner Wheel and her husband Roy was a valued member of our Rotary Club.

Founder President of the modern Club which was resurrected in 1971, James Murray, thanked Marjory and Liza for their enthusiastic presentation and said how he still so enjoyed playing at the Club
