Colin Brown welcomed guests Fiona Bodmer, President of the Colchester Club, and Alistair Robb, District Governor for the 1010 area. He spoke of the long-standing success of the Chariot’s of Fire charity race which raised over £13,500 with record-breaking numbers of 250 for the children’s race and 800 for the adult’s race. Krishnaswarmy Bangarpet gave an update on the recent Families First Fun Day at Craigtoun Park and Tommy Brown described plans for the 2027 International Golf Competition. After lunch Colin Brown gave an overview of achievements of the past year and the future plans, especially in increasing the Club’s visibility in the community. Alistair Robb congratulated the Club on its 'wonderful reputation’ and commended its work in the community, noting especially the ‘inspired example’ of the KK/KT Tunstall concert earlier this year. He thanked members, urging them to ‘create lasting impact’ and ‘dare to be different’.
