Over 800 runners in the Senior 5k run and 240 entrants in the children's 1 mile run made this a great sight on the West Sands.

It is a real family event.

Annually large funds are raised for charity as the event is well supported by sponsors.

Rotarians have volunteered at this event from the year it started.
