Handover from Daljit to President Toni
Held at Dotties Tea Room
On Tuesday 27th June 2023, Outgoing President Daljit Roy presented the chain of office to incoming President Toni Bird. The event was attended by The Mayor, Peter Human and his wife Janet, The Lions President Marilyn Batrick and her partner Bill. Also in attendance were the Assistant Governor for District 1080 ,Andy Roberts and his wife Hillary.
A buffett was served, followed by amazing cake creations by Mandy at Dotties Tea Rooms in Friday Bridge.
Daljit gave a brief outline of his year and welcomed in our 5th Lady President, Toni gave a brief summary of her vision for the coming year. It would be full of fun and fellowship, with the focus clearly on looking after local people.
