Abbey Astro Turf. Volunteers meet Mike at 9.30am to set up. Registration from 11am. Matches start 1pm. Organiser Rtn Mike Smith.


Congratulations to our 2022 Winners - 1. The Police (in black), 2. Camb A and 3. Emmaus (in red).

Goalie of thhe Tournament - Josh Eardley from Jimmys. (Blue & White Stripes).

Trophies and Medals were presented by Rev Sophie Young, the Bishop of Elys Homeless Officer (who also played).

The Annual Tommy McLafferty Football Tournament is Back !

The Weather was very kind and we had a around 70 enthusuastic players and had a great deal of fun.

The snacks and lunch were all provided plus extra bits of kit as necessary.

Our 4 volunteer Referees were Henry (FA), Clive Batchelor (PT), Vythi (Friend of Rotary) and our own President David Ellis.

After a covid gap of 2 years we are again in business !

The Cambridge South Rotary Club in co-operation with Link Up and other organisations focussing on supporting the Homeless in the area and other disadvantaged groups set up and sponsor and staff the Day.

The 5 aside matches were played in 2 leagues so each team played 4 matches 10min each way.
