Tonight we get an update about the Cambridge Club Rotary Centenary 2022 Plans from Neil Wihiteside and how all four Cambridge Clubs can be involved. 

Neil is Senior Vice President of the Cambridge Rotary Club and a local Radio Broadcaster.

100 years of Rotary in Cambridge is a wonderful thing to celebrate and planning has been ongoing over several years.

Events and Projects include :

  • The new Christs pieces Lamp and Plaque - our contribution has been paid.
  • The Turn On Ceremony onsite and a Reception due at Emmanual College 5 May 2022 Noon.
  • The proposed 3 year Centenary Charity Fund - concentrating on giving stable funding to small local charities - to be administered by a 4 Clubs committee.

Our annual charity car parking at Christmas using two car parks with the kind permission of the University and department of Chemistry raises £30,000 or more, mainly for local charities . To apply for a grant see our grant application
