Tonight we meet to celebrate with, and distribute cheques to, local charities chosen from this years nominations and applications.
Thanks to Cambridge South Rotary Club members , friends and partners our major Fundraiser for the Year has been another stupendous success !!
After 13 days of effort out in the cold and the wet, often in silly hats or costumes, over 200 volunteer slots were filled during our City Centre Car Parking Project during November and December..
With grateful thanks to the University and its Estates Department Team for allowing us to use their spare christmas slots on two of their City Centre sites we have raised OVER £31,000 !!
Our carefully selected list of recipients includes :
Petals
Cambridge Dial-a-Ride
