Jun 2019 Rotary Kids Out Fun Day @ Wimpole Home Farm

Wed, Jun 12th 2019 at 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Come and help the youngsters to enjoy their day out in the fresh air. A Joint Multi - Club Event.

A great annual project to get involved in.

Kids Out is a very popular Rotary Project. Across the country clubs get together to arrange a Full-of-Fun day out for the children from the special schools in the local area.  In the Cambridge area 6 Rotary clubs combine to arrange and staff a full day of activities at Wimpole Hall with fantastic support from the National Trust.

In a manicured field tents and marquees spring up to house eg Face Painting, Kite making, lunches, T-shirts and caps, entertainments and art options.  Bouncy Castles, free Ice Creams and Train rides always raise beaming smiles.

The Farm is a real hit too - approached through the winding path through trees and bushes, bird song and flowers.

Come and chat to the children, play alongside them, untangle kite strings and make sure they get their turn on the bouncy castle !
