Satellite Group now up to 13 members !


Today we celebrate two new members being inducted into the Cambridge South Satellite Group - the Cambridge Business Forum - based at the SODA Cafe, The Cambridge Innovation Park, Waterbeach.

President James was delighted to present Rotary Pins to our two new recruits.

Also on the menu was a short talk by Rtn Alan Franklin on Lend with Care - a microfinancing charity with worldwide impact.  Donated money is loaned out and recycled again and again as small businesses get off the ground or expand their operations, then repay their loans - all well governed and encouraged by well vetted local agents.  The Club has a very active account and sponsors 2 schools to do the same.

Jools was very pleased to achieve completing the Cambridge Half Marathon 2019 with energy to spare and has raised more than £260 so far for charity Cambridge Rape Crisis centre. - see photographic evidence !

Our annual charity car parking at Christmas using two car parks with the kind permission of the University and department of Chemistry raises £30,000 or more, mainly for local charities . To apply for a grant see our grant application
