All Welcome - Lots of people came to join in the Party ! Our 8th Birthday Party !!
Today we raised the roof with Brian Lawless on guitar and our trusty band of singers. His laid back style and lovely choice of songs was a delight to behold.
We were graced by the presence of Douglas deLacy (Chair of the District Council) plus James (Club President) and Frances Watts who joined in the event with enthusiasm. They jointly cut the lovely birthday cake (thank you to Eileen). James then surprised Basil with a Paul Harris Fellowship certificate and pin as an acknowledgement for all his hard work over all the years of the Memory Cafe that has so contributed to its success.
A Great Event all round !
