Today Girton College, Huntingdon Road, Cambridge is hosting us - Meet in the Old Kitchens Bar.
'The Development of Cambridge Colleges.' by Max Kettenacker (Director of Allies & Morrison).
After a 2 course meal with coffee/tea, we will have a very interesting talk by Architect Max Kettenacker. He is responsible for several interesting developments including Ash Court, the new wing at Girton College, which is built to a very high spec and has won awards for sustainability and environmental performance.
You may like to arrive a little early and take a quick look at the new residential block.
Plenty of Parking in the Car park is available - access is off the Girton Road, Girton.
Access will be through the new Old Kitchens Door, up the ramp. If the door is not unlocked then press the access pad and wait until the Porter releases the lock.
We will have a reception in the Bar, enjoy a self serve meal in the Main Dining Hall then retire to a Meeting Room nearby..
