Professor Sherman is an american criminologist and founder of "evidence-based policing”, currently Director of the Cambridge Institute of Criminology and the new College of Policing.
The Club was delighted with the response to this special meeting co-ordinated by our Membership Team. We had 35 visitors and lots of opportunity to chat through our extensive display of photos showing our members involved in last year's recent projects. President Duncan opened the event with a warm welcome for everyone and a brief summary of Rotary International and the general ethos and motivation of this community support organistion of over 1.2 million volunteers from around the world.
