GREAT RESULT -
Five Rotarians from the Rotary club of
Cambridge South gave their time to help Cottenham Residents collect litter from the built up area
and around the roads leading into the village, leaving the village looking
pleasingly clean and tidy. Piles of bags of litter were collected, including 10 by the
Rotarians. "Finds" included paper, cardboard, polystyrene, plastic wrapping, cigarette ends, shattered bike lights, glass and plastic bottles, numerous cans
and even a mobile phone !
We made a difference !!
This was the latest Litterpick organised by Sustainable Cottenham. We met at the Village Hall on the Recreation Ground - off Lambs Lane by the Primary School.
Wrapped up warm with gloves and sturdy footwear - equipment was provided.
