Speaker Saxon Brettell on economics. Speaker Host - Roger Birchinall, Cashier - Maureen, General Host - Richard de Horsey. VENUE - Westminster College.

We start with the Induction of our newest member - Stefanie Kroeber !

Our subject for the evening :

Title: "'The future ain't what it used to be' - a forward-looking history of economic prediction."

This will look (with wry humour) at how well economists and others have anticipated the future and how they might do better.

Speaker: Saxon Brettell is a Cambridge-based consultant economist who has had a long (and mostly well-paid) career advising private and public sector clients on their economic futures. MD Piametrics.
