Tonight the club was represented by Alan and Sian at the District 1080 Handover Dinner.
Nick Corke (outgoing DG 1080) began the evening with a minutes silence to commemorate Hilary King who recently died suddenly. She has worked tirelessly for Rotary for many years, supported by her husband who was present at the dinner.
Our Award - The outgoing District Governor was delighted to present a Rotary Presidential Citation to the Cambridge South Rotary Club to celebrate the excellent work of the club over the last year. As the only club in the District to receive the accolade we are very proud to be recognised in this way.
We also were given a certificate from Nick as a thank you for taking part in his Ride for Prostate Cancer Event.
Nick passed the District management over to Dorothy Pulford-Harris and her new team for the new year 2015-2016.
