What a successful day! We had over 100 delegates on the day with over a third of them young people from across the Region - representing 9 schools and 10 Rotary Clubs. The great facilities at the Leys School and its staff meant the day ran smoothly and had plenty of room and refreshments for everyone present.
The Conference was open to the public, Rotarians and Sixth Form students -

This Conference Day was a Region wide thought-provoking event reaching out to ALL but particularly to Sixth Form students interested in a worldwide perspective on Peace and Conflict Resolution, across the East Anglian area. Several high-profile speakers gave up their time to attend and share their experience and thoughts on a variety of issues around the subject. There were also brief talks, break-out discussions and plenty of time to chat.
Parking on-site was available - 2 entrances to the site - minibuses and coaches to use the Trumpington Road gateway, cars to use the Fen Causeway gateway - look for our Rotary banners. There is also public parking on Lammas Lane at the other end of the Fen Causeway.
Light refreshments will be on offer but bring a packed lunch with you.
Venue - The Leys School Great Hall, Fen Causeway, Cambridge CB2 7AD.
